Fashion lovers' attention was turning to Budapest last weekend. I feel that there is a 'new wave' of Hungarian designers, their work has been increasingly recognized in the fashion world, every look was impeccably done. Here is my summary and personal review on the fashion days,  enjoy it!

Snapshots to get you in the mood

The magazine organized cool programs in the lounge: DM, Oriflame and Maybelline were offering free make-ups and beauty tips for everybody, delicious sparkling wine was served by Hungaria all weekend, my absolute favorite one is the Extra Dry version.

There was a Ford stand with the new Ford Fiesta, Schwarzkopf was giving away free samples and designers' collections like MZF (www.mzffashion.hu) Ecco and Komono (Belgian brand) were for sale all day.

Professional day - Friday

Friday evening was reserved for the fashion experts only. Talented Hungarian designers presented their work, on Saturday evening the whole show was going on once again for the public.

Nude by Nubu couldn't be simpler than that, still it has a twist in each and every piece.

Cukovy's collection was bright and modern, just like at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Show, I loved the colors.

Elysian and Nora Sarman represent the timeless look with effortless elegance, just have a look at the silhouettes and the luxurious material.

THEFOUR is a label created by three young designers, in their collection I felt the spring vibes the most: blend of orange and pink shades, chic design.

My favorite outfits of Saturday and Sunday shows

The winner of "Street style outfit of the year" was announced by the Hungarian Marie Claire Chief Editor, Krisztina László. The competition was sponsored by Hungaria sparkling wine, in the outfit something metallic should have been used as inspiration from their Champagne bottle label. The applicants were showing their own outfit on the runway, see the winners below! I loved this initiation, here are my two other favorite outfits:

Blue appeared in the next designers section, deep and elegant color, I usually wear it all year round.

Ford Fiesta was presenting the most fabulous show of Saturday by MERO Inspiration. Blend of classical and sexiness, dreamy gowns, unique pieces of luxury. I enjoyed the show so much.

ANNAEVA's collection was mainly built around black and white: timeless and ageless looks, fluffy fabrics.

Prieston by Noemi Nagy evoked the feel of summer: Transparent material and relaxed outfits turned on the summer mood on the runway.

Well-known, world-leading labels like C&A and Van Graaf celebrated women and keep inspiring our looks everyday. This time you could deep into their fall-winter collection, grab the pieces that are still missing from your wardrobe this season,  now available at the stores!

To me, the most exclusive part of the fashion days was definitely the KATTI ZOOB show, as a closing show of the event. French music, stripes and mix of classics made me feel like being in Paris. The collection was "très chic". Retro prints, silky, maxi skirts paired with flats gives a bohemian, Parisian style to the whole collection.

Thank you, Marie Claire Hungary for the Press ticket, I enjoyed every minute of the event! Dear Designers! Thank you for showing the fashion world, how powerful and creative the Hungarian designers are! You have worked incredibly hard, I'm proud of you! May you get, what you truly deserve!
